General surgerns & patients had been concerned with breast cancer treatment itself in the past. But nowadays both of them are concerned with aesthetics besides the breast cancer treatment. Various kinds of breast reconstruction were performed
including
latissimus dorsi flap, tissue expansion, silicone implant, pedicled TRAM flap, etc. Those above had many disadvantages, so we performed immediate free TRAM flap operation simultaneous uith MRM operation in 2 cases. The patients were very
satisfied
with
the result of breast reconstruction. We had the indication of under the II stage and 50-year-old age if possible.
One patients was a 47-year-old-age woman with stage I papillary but multicentric type, another patients was a 39-year-old woman with stage IIb intraductal type.
Now, we introduce the operative method of immediate free TRAN flap and its advantages & disadvantages.
